About The Event
Parent and Caregiver Peers have faced challenges of living with or caretaking for those with behavioral health needs, making them uniquely qualified to engage and partner with families. This training is designed to equip parents and caregivers with the skills and attitudes to be successful as a Parent and Caregiver Peer Support.
This training takes place in-person, October 7 - 9, 2025. You must be able to attend the whole training in order to be considered.
Following the in-person training in October, there will be a two-day virtual training scheduled for December 10 - 11, 2025. You must be able to participate in this online training to be considered.
Please note, we offer application priority to those who have a secured job offer that is dependent upon Parent and Caregiver Peer Support training and those whose current role benefits from attending the training. If you have a job offer, or are currently employed somewhere, please be sure to enter your place of employment on the application.
Please understand we do our best to give as many people as possible a fair opportunity at attending the training.
If you are not able to attend each training day in full, or cannot attend the virtual two-day training following, please do not submit this form. You may reach out to bahremilie@nd.gov with questions.
