ASIST is a 2-day training program that teaches participants how to assist those at risk for suicide.

Training will be ongoing with multiple trainings offered each month. The class is hosted virtually via Zoom. Training requires 2 hours pre-work plus a post-test and evaluation.

Caring Communities: Guidance for Supporting Survivors of Suicide Loss is a one-hour presentation, available in-person or virtually, designed to provide participants with information, resources, and practical guidance on how to support someone who has experienced a recent loss to suicide.

Mental Health First Aid is an interactive 8-hour course that teaches you how tohelp someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing amental health crisis. The training helps you identify, understand, and respond tosigns of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The training presents anoverview of mental illness and substance use disorders in the U.S. andintroduces you to risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems,builds understanding of their impact, and overviews common treatments.

This training is designed to improve participant's knowledge about suicide risk factors and assessing for acute suicide risk using the Columbia-Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS) screening tool.

NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group is a free, peer-led support group for adults who have experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. This meeting follows a structured model to ensure everyone has an opportunity to share and receive support. Sessions are 90 minutes long and occur on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis.

Join this virtual training to learn both the fundamentals and complexities of death certification. At the end of the presentation, attendees should be able to understand the mechanism of death, define cause of death, list categories of death, understand periprocedural deaths.
