Description: The BeHEARD for Educators course is a virtual, interactive program designed to increase the confidence of educators and other school staff in addressing youth behavioral health concerns. Behavioral Health Education Awareness and Response Development (BeHEARD) is

an interactive virtual course designed to help increase your knowledge, skills, and confidence in supporting youth aged 10-17 with behavioral health concerns.This is an excellent opportunity for educators to gain practical tools for navigating challenging conversations, creating positive school environments, and obtain professional development credit.

2. Anxiety and Stress

3. Substance Use and Addiction

4. Trauma

5. Suicide

6. Grief and Loss

7. Non-Suicidal Self Injury

8. Eating Disorders

9. Wellness

10. Stigma

Professional Development Credit: 1 credit available through USF (University of Sioux Falls)

Cost: The course is offered at no charge. An additional fee applies if you choose to earn the professional development credit through USF
