  • Amanda Lange was born and raised in the Bismarck. She graduated from the University of Mary with her Bachelors in Psychology in 2016. In 2018, she graduated from the University of Mary with her Masters in Mental Health Counseling. She has experience with working with children and their families as well as working with children residing in in-patient psychiatric treatment centers. She loves working with children of all ages, along with their families and caretakers. In practice she utilizes play, art and sandtray along with trauma centered therapies such as Brainspotting. She is also trained in evidenced based therapies such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. When she is not working, Amanda loves to play with her dog, Simba, and spend time with her family. Amanda has a passion for helping families through difficult custody or court proceeds. She is sought after for her practice of the child's mental health always comes first.  

  • Valerie Meyers-Bitz formed The Kid's Therapy LLC in May of 2010. She was born and raised in the Bismarck-Mandan area. In 2001, Meyers earned her B.S. in Community Psychology from St Cloud State University in St Cloud, MN. She continued her education, earning her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, WI.  Meyers specializes in treating children with expressive therapies such as play therapy, sandplay therapy, and art therapy.  She has extensive training in children, parenting, and ways to help them. In addition, she loves applying a more holistic approach with nutrition, analysis of genetics and functional labs.  In addition, she has extensive training in high conflict divorce and developed a reunification program or commonly known as the Therapeutic Visitation Program. Her love for supervising her staff and providing extensive education allows them to also provide mental health expertise to their patients.
