About The Event

North Dakota State University Extension is hosting upcoming QPR (Question–Persuade–Refer) Suicide Prevention webinars focused on supporting the mental and emotional well-being of people working in agriculture and related fields. 


What you’ll learn: 

• How to recognize warning signs of mental health crisis or suicidal thinking 

• How to respond with confidence and care 

• Ways to support friends, family, and colleagues 


Why Suicide Prevention in ag fields matter: Research shows suicide rates are significantly higher among those working in agriculture, highlighting the need for awareness and support. 


This 90-minute online training is Free to attend. 

Funded through a grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. 


Registration is limited to the first 30 participants per webinar. Register at ndsu.ag/QPR-May-2026 for the May session.
