Suicide Risk Assessment (Virtual, FirstLink)

Objectives:

This training is designed to improve participant's knowledge about suicide risk factors and assessing for acute suicide risk using the Columbia-Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS) screening tool. Participants will be given an overview of suicide statistics in our area as well as risk and protective factors. Participants will then be taught to how to effectively use the C-SSRS screening tool and options for addressing risk through collaborative safety planning.

CEU Hours: Approved for NDBSW, NDEMS, NDPOST, and MNPOST.
